High School Environmental Club
Goal: To provide environmental awareness and opportunities to partner with organizations that take care of our local environment.
Includes: T-Shirt, 2 field trips, growing plants on IRCS premises, composting. Meetings will occur either during activity period or Fridays after school. Environmental guest speakers engagements will occur during 7th period or after school. News will be posted on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Springman’s lab room. Maximum 25 participants.

High School Medical Club
Goal: To provide medical career awareness and opportunities to partner with our local medical community.
Includes: T-Shirt, 2 field trips, medical guest speaker engagements. Meetings will occur either during activity period on Thursdays or Fridays after school. News will be posted on the bulletin board outside Mrs. Springman’s lab room. Maximum 25 participants.

SAT/ACT English & Language Test Prep
Details: Open to Seniors. During this 6-week course, each student will review Reading/English/Writing content, practice test-taking and time management strategies, and complete timed practices with feedback.

High School ESports
Details: Open to high school students. Students will have the opportunity to compete in one or more games of their choice against other high schools students across the United States in the video games: Rocket League, Tetris, Super Smash Bros, Madden 23, FIFA 23, Brawlhalla, Hearthstone, Marvel Snap and F1 23.
Personalized jerseys are included in the cost. Optional Dri-Fit Sweatshirt $60

High School Esports Chess
Details: Open to high school students. Students will compete with other high school students across Florida in the inaugural season of the Florida Esports Championship Series for Chess. No experience is necessary.

Middle School Esports Fall Season
Open to Middle School Students. Students will play and learn fundamentals and teamwork while playing the video games Rocket League & Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Top Rocket League high school students can win scholarships for college. Rocket League is a cross platform video game which provides a fun environment for students to learn strategy, communication and team work. Smash Ultimate is a side scroll fighter which requires fast hand eye coordination and knowledge processing. There will be opportunities to challenge the high school team to matches as well.
Students are encouraged to bring their own Nintendo Switch to allow multiple students to play simultaneously with Parent’s permission.
Esports Jerseys are included in the cost.

Middle School Robotics Fall Season
Details: Open to middle school students. Participants will be using the VEX IQ robotic systems. In the VEX IQ Challenge, teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to compete with other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications and more.
