The Academic Advising Team at Indian Rocks Christian School partners with students and parents to discover God’s next steps for academic growth, personal development, and future plans.

Our mission is to help students grow with sound minds, skilled hands, and servant hearts by providing academic, social and emotional, and spiritual guidance.

We connect with students to identify their strengths, priorities, and interests, while also offering opportunities and information through workshops, meetings, and college fairs to support them in the college search and application process. Throughout this journey, we work to remove barriers to learning, encourage spiritual and social maturity, and equip students to use their God-given gifts to serve others.

Through intentional college and career advising, we help students discern God’s calling for their lives and prepare to serve Him faithfully in any industry or ministry after graduation from IRCS.

Jamesha Cobb, MA

College Advising Director

Jamesha Cobb serves as the Director of College Advising at Indian Rocks Christian School, bringing more than five years of experience in education and student support. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and a Master of Science from Florida A&M University. Passionate about college preparation, Jamesha is committed to helping students recognize their God-given gifts, explore their possibilities, and confidently navigate the journey from high school to college and beyond.

Jamesha’s love for God is at the heart of her work. She believes that the school and the church share a powerful responsibility to educate, encourage, and prepare young people to live lives of purpose and service. Through personalized advising, meaningful relationships, and faith-centered guidance, she strives to ensure that every student feels known, supported, and equipped to pursue the future God has prepared for them.
