- Indian Rocks Christian School is a college preparatory school committed to helping students achieve academic excellence in preschool through the twelfth grade. Among all the preparatory schools in Pinellas County, and even the entire state, we are confident that our students emerge from our halls well prepared for college.
- Our preschool uses the Wee Learn curriculum, thoughtfully supplemented to meet each child where they are in their individual learning journey. A biblical worldview is woven into everything we do as we nurture children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We also build essential life skills by helping children learn to advocate for themselves, self-regulate their emotions, and grow in independence and confidence.
- Our upper school Bible curriculum focuses on teaching students the full Biblical narrative with an emphasis on grade-appropriate Bible literacy skills. Middle school students explore both the Old and New Testaments while being introduced to a Christian worldview. High school students revisit the grand Biblical narrative before mastering essential Christian doctrines and learning to defend their faith through studies in apologetics and Christian ethics.
Yes! Students may earn college credit through various Dual Enrollment and AP classes. Credits may be earned in English, Math, Science, and Fine Arts. Multiple Honors level classes are also offered.
- IRCS Athletics includes a robust middle school program, offering 20 athletic teams for students.
- IRCS offers 24 Varsity Sports teams and 6 JV teams. Nearly 75% of students participate in at least one sport.
- Athletes must comply with eligibility requirements and handbook standards.
Students at IRCS wear specific branded tops and khaki shorts, skirts, or pants or students may wear jeans with no rips, holes, or frays.
At this time, IRCS does not provide a bus service for community students. This decision will continue to be reviewed as our students’ needs change. If this is something you are interested in, please contact us immediately.
Student safety is a priority for IRCS. The school, in conjunction with Indian Rocks Church, has safety protocols and emergency plans in place to prevent and address potential threats. IRCS has implemented multiple strategies to harden our campus, which include visitor management, surveillance, staff training, and limited access during the school day. In addition, IRCS has multiple armed security guards on campus during the school day and during evening school events. Safety inspectors stated that IRCS is the safest school in Pinellas County.
Yes! Families can register for before school care, after school care or both! IRCS also offers dynamic summer camps!
