Visual Arts
Art gives our students the opportunity to maximize their creativity and imagination! Elementary students attend art once a week starting in PK-3 all the way up to 5th grade. While students create their masterpieces in art, they also strengthen their fine motor skills. Key content subjects such as language arts, math, history and Bible are also integrated in the classroom in a fun and unique way. Students get to experience a variety of mediums such as clay, painting, drawing, and printmaking. We will often combine these mediums to form one exceptional piece! Student work is proudly displayed throughout the hallways of the school and their work is also presented and awarded prizes at the Florida State Fair every year!
Middle/High School visual arts
Middle/High School Visual Arts instruction is led by Robin Quinn. Mrs. Quinn teaches a daily art class which is offered as an elective. She also works closely with the classroom teachers to integrate art into their subjects which enhances the learning process. Student work is on display throughout the year and their work is exhibited at the Florida State Fair and other venues where they are recognized and often win prizes for their art. All classes work with a variety of styles including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed-media, ceramics, and much more.

Elementary visual arts
Our elementary art program gives students the opportunity to foster their creativity and imagination while being introduced to foundational concepts of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. In art class, critical thinking skills are nurtured and classical and contemporary artists are studied through a Biblical lense. Students explore diverse artistic mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture making and ceramics. Masterpieces are proudly displayed throughout the school hallways and select pieces are entered every year for the Creative Living Art Competition at the Florida State Fair. Students have placed in several categories including Best of Show in pastel, non-functional ceramics and 2D mixed media.
